Day 2 and 3: Settling in and finding our way ard

This is way outdated. I am uploading truckloads of photos everyday !! When i really should be studying. Anyway I have just dropped a module here cos it doesn't make sense if i hold on to it and NOT study for it. Anyway, am trying hard to recall what happen like 2 weeks ago so i can illustrate it here haha...

Steep, steep flight of stairs we have to climb up every morning.
Good exercise when ur not in a rush for time.
Waste of time + tiring when ur late for lessons =P

Heading to Tsim sha tsui for dinner

Their MTR here is really similar to MRT in Singapore,
just that the platform gap is REALLY big sometimes.
like, 5 times that of S'pore? So we must always look where we're going heh.

Some run-down building, somehow they remind me of those scenes in HK drama serial.

Anyway i hated my food cos the chicken is so fatty and full of bones.
I miss my sg chicken rice and chilli. They only have like, chilli oil here. Bleargh.

but pity it was raining then and we cldn't take a good picture.

We attended the briefing on the third day morning.

Here you see the CUHK emblem. Reminds me of Hogwarts lols. Just some background info on the school, apparently it is the largest and greenest campus in HK. Well, i think we can tell lols. There is greenery EVERYWHERE we turn. and it is so large that we need to take shuttle bus just to find food/make our way to the MTR station. And it takes us like 15 mins to walk to class. And if we miss the last shuttle bus, which we did for two consequtive nights, the walk up takes minimum 20 mins and max 40 mins.

Mind you, it's upslope ALL THE WAY, like climbing mountain just to get back to hall sia. It is of course, really good exercise, but not when it's past midnight and we're carrying BAGS of shopping goods ! Was a scary experience for lix and me to make our way back alone one night. We had to run across this scary and dark corridor becos it's quite eerie. =x So now, it's either we come back earlier, or we cab, or we walk with a big grp of ppl back heh.

They said if you walk through this 'door',
you won't be able to graduate from cuhk.
Unless you roll down a nearby flight of stairs 3 times. Ouch.

Apparently it rains so often here, the girls have come up with a space-saving way to hang their umbrellas ! So yup, we have a whole stretch of umbrellas down the corridor. interesting.

12 course dinner
Lots of veggie. which is good lols.
I find that you hardly get enough veggies in HK.
All the meals are so meaty, tsk.

Ronald Macdonald ate the cherry eyes and started to hallucinate abt smiley face in his chinese tea lols. Ok fine, i cld see it too. haha

So, Day 2 and 3 aren't exactly the most exciting days but there's more to come later ! Oh and we missed class today because we overslept. And even newer updates abt us oversleeping is that on the second consequetive day, we overslept again and only went for the later half of the class. And we had to sneak in during the break. Sigh, what's with us and alarm clocks ? We are such sleepyheads. =P

Anyway if u people want more detailed illustrations of the HK days, can refer to lix's blog cos i'm far too lazy to write abt everything lols. i highlight whatever i feel like highlighting haha. and my updates will not come as often heh. But i will try !!

Here's a line from a friend that i quite like, but cldn't rmb the exact words.

"You still have time to sort it out but do it soon,cos time flies and if you don't make a decision for yourself...time will."
